Thanks so much for visiting HamCrafted.com.

The business/tech press is full of stories on the so-called Web 2.0, and how user-generated content will redefine the Internet and how we use it. As a PR/Communications professional, I am struggling to keep up with the rapid development of communication technologies and their implications, and struggling to learn how to use them to the benefit of my clients and to myself. 

That's what HamCrafted is about. It's a laboratory where I can take a crack at interactive media without weighty expectations or fear of failure. With HamCrafted, I hope to build a community, try some new stuff, and have some fun. If I can do those three things, then I will have accomplished my mission--but don't look for me on the deck of an aircraft carrier braggin' about it.

As of its creation, I don't really know what focus HamCrafted.com's content will have, but that's where you come in. 

I can't build a community without you. I want your ideas, I want your thoughts, and I want you to join in the HamCrafting fun.  If you've got favorite links you want to share, post them here. If you want to write, but don't know how to build a website, or haven't found a forum that's right for you, try writing here. If you have photography, music, video, or other art to share, think about sharing it here.

Become a registered user, and start sharing. From time to time, I'll even send you subject ideas to get you started.
